Hair was blowdried thereafter lightly curled and pinned up. A flexible hairspray was used throughout the day in order to not weigh down the hair.

*tip: keep curlers in the ends to hold the curl right before it's time to shine!

New cuts for 2010!

Personality and hairstyles go together. An interesting cut and color can bring out the real you, be bold!

We added a twist to the regular bob. The contrast color at the ends of the fringe lifts up the overall look. The hair was cut in a diagonal shape in the back, giving the style a more precise look although hair was cut very shaggy in the front.

For styling, the hair was prepped with a bit of PhomollientTM Styling Foam, added to the hair when it was 70 % dry. Hair was blowed with a roundbrush, with specific focus on the mid back part and sides. Control Paste™ was used to create some movement in the front , and finished off with Air ControlTM Hair Spray.

Black layered hair, smoky eyes and red lips...these girls were hot!
To create these sultry styles I ran through a smoothing prep product through the hair (Smooth Infusion Style-Prep Smoother) then blowdried/ flatironed the hair first in order for a more precise cut (both girls have curly hair.) Both ladies got a layered cut to match their hairtexture and light bangs. For the first style I curled the hair on a medium barrel curling iron, tousled the top hair and pinned it while letting some locks hang down loosely. The second style I used a curlcontrol product ( Be curly Curl Control ,) blowdried with a diffuser and curled some pieces on a smaller curling iron. For both girls I used a light spray for hold (Air Control airspray,) and a small amount of frizz control and shine (Brilliant Anti Humectant Pomade.) *Remember to use a light hold spray before you tousle or curl the hair for better hold!
